This website was developed by the Colorado Springs Fire Department to provide residents an easy way to identify their home's wildfire hazard risk and the FireWise information that can be implemented to reduce that risk.

FireWise Colorado Springs is a program of the Colorado Springs Fire Department. Our mission is to teach homeowners within our wildland-urban interface how they can reduce their wildfire hazard risk.

We are available at no charge to meet with homeowner's associations, neighborhood groups and all other interested organizations. Recent FireWise meetings have been held in schools, churches, local fire stations and the homes of neighborhood hosts.

Let us teach you and your neighborhood how they can reduce their wildfire risk. Get involved and invite your neighbors! In less than two hours you can learn everything you need to know to get you started.
